Ms. Morgan has practiced law for over twenty years and specializes in civil litigation and corporate and business law.  She represents Fortune 100 insurance companies, national and regional banks, local businesses, private lending institutions and high net worth individuals.  Ms. Morgan practices at the trial and appellate court levels in the state and federal courts of Connecticut, among other jurisdictions.  She is also experienced in resolving disputes through mediation and arbitration proceedings. 

Ms. Morgan’s civil litigation practice involves a wide range of matters including contract disputes, insurance coverage claims, loan enforcement, commercial foreclosures, tax appeals and the defense of professional liability claims.   In the business law area, Ms. Morgan’s practice includes the drafting and negotiation of independent contractor agreements, non-disclosure and confidentiality agreements, sports event financing agreements and loan workout agreements.  She also represents companies in the United States and abroad with organizational and corporate operational matters.

Ms. Morgan has served the State of Connecticut through gubernatorial appointments to statewide commissions.  Most recently, Ms. Morgan served as Chair of the Connecticut Judicial Selection Commission which is responsible for recommending candidates to the Governor for appointment as judges to the Connecticut Superior Court, Appellate Court and Supreme Court.  Ms. Morgan also served for several years as a Uniform Law Commissioner representing the State of Connecticut at the National Conference of Commissioners on Uniform State Laws.
